This fall family mini session in Amherst, Massachusetts happened during that magical golden hour stretch where the light is epic and the lens flares are *chef’s kiss. I photographed my dear friend Donna and her beautiful family — which made the evening feel extra sweet.

We wandered around a gorgeous meadow, chased light, and let the kids lead the way, which is pretty much my favorite way to photograph families. The leaves glowed, the air felt soft, and everything moved at toddler speed (as it should). Nothing was posed, nothing was rushed. Just small hands, big feelings, and that fleeting fall magic.
